TBH the weekend crap and basically always being on call but never really being on call was one of the reasons why I got out of IT. It's cool for people to think you're Batman and all, but I never got paid as much as Batman. So...

It's glorious here today. Probably going to go for a run later. I do that now, which is not something I've ever done before. It's...it's not bad actually. Just have to take it a little easier on myself than I usually do.

Been very nice out. I was going to go for a run today but ended up having other things to do. Wasn't a horribly great day so I really didn't feel like doing much at all when I got home... I did move my desktop to where I can use it more freely now though. And I played some MKX, so that was fun. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel up to running. Or at least forcing myself to go run.

no idea who I would want to be...not really the super hero type anyways. (more like one of the lone gunwomen).

yes it was another great day out...cant complain about the weather! (am really enjoying this thing called spring--since we in the middle of the usa rarely get to experience it).

Been very nice out. Supposed to get some rain this weekend again though. But that does happen to come with spring.

well, it has to rain now, we got out and did the washing (inside and out) and my hubby is doing the waxing on the corolla (I will do the wax on the subaru ...tues or wed depending on when it is not going to rain so that I can do it in the driveway instead of our tiny 1 car garage with minuscule overhead light while he is at work)...really would be nice to have our own driveway and hoses so we could wash our cars here instead of having to go someplace and plug tokens/quarters into their revenue.).

I broke down yesterday and had to turn the a/c on for an hour just to get the computers to a happy place (we hit 82 inside which is past their tolerance)...still need to clean the filter though---hope it doesnt get too warm today so that I can take it out and wash it tomorrow (it has to 'dry' for about 24 hours since water and electricity dont mix well).

think ...no, I KNOW its nap time (and my shoulder will be quite sore when I wake up...perhaps some advil before that nap---).

It rained today, that is for sure. Most of my drive back today was in the rain. Makes it super fun... I need to wash and wax my car. Maybe I'll do that this weekend at my folks house. My front is like a bug massacre. Driving through all sorts of insect groups apparently.

We had the A/C on Friday night for the first time ever in the new place. Got a tad bit to warm in there for our liking. But if we open all the windows it cools it down pretty quickly, which is good! So ya. We also got room darkening curtains for the bedroom so that we can actually sleep past sun rise...

got a bit on the toasty side here today as well, supposed to cool down with this rain so hope to get the filter cleaned soon.

yep room darkened window treatments are a must if you are not a....person who likes to wake with the sunrise (never have been and never will be--sunrise is when we of the night crawl into our coffins

).

so you are spending weekends moving stuff? (been there--done that too many times to count), but its good you are getting things moving along and not having to move in a very short time frame (like be out by the end of the month when its the 28th).

It definitely has cooled down here. Mid-50's is the high this week with nasty wind... Dang.

I'm okay with the sunrise, so long as it isn't at 5am. >.>

Yup, weekends are generally spent moving stuff. I only have a few big things left to move down here, so hopefully we can avoid a U-Haul cost!

but yeah, having the sun in your eyes when you are just about in the middle of a good rem can be rather....rude.

and yeah, that wind yesterday was pretty dang brutal. I was running errands and one stiff wind tried to push me out of my lane. (and yeah, errands...seems the hood light on the range decided to start signaling the aliens...changed the bulb and the new one did the same thing, so either the wires are moved --unlikely--or the fixture is borked--most likely, well, just to get someone to come out here is more than I wish to spend on this, so I went and bought some puk lights and just stuck them in the lights place--works for us and the new lights are brighter than the old one was!)

cool is fine for a few days, still have a list of stuff to get done since we got side tracked with the light yesterday including cleaning the filter

5am is 30 minutes before I get up. Which is actually kind of depressing...

It was brutal again today. This is getting ridiculous... Seriously wind, stop. Just stop. We get it, you are strong. You can blow things all over the place. Now stop...

Welp I have a phone interview tomorrow after school for a job up north. Hopefully it goes well... Haven't interviewed for a position in almost 4 years now.

Thanks, the interview went well. I have a in-person interview on Monday now for that position. Hoping that goes well also because it would be swell to be done job-hunting...

..and we had a power outage this morning for about 3 hours....I was watching the kung fu maratho--oy forgive me binge and they were just doing the last 4 parter where he finally gets to meet his 1/2 brother..and .....the power goes out

(and just when did we decide that marathons should now be called binges???? what a stupid renaming).

and yes, still cold as....well, yes very cold ---but next week looks warmer (heck I think its warmer in alaska right now).

No power outage here, which was good. Just lots of errands being run yesterday. Then today I drove up north to go drive some more. Have to get ready for my interview tomorrow. Hopefully that goes well... Bought a new shirt that is the colors of their school to wear for it with a matching tie. Doing everything I can to impress...

This week does look warmer. Thank goodness for that!
